Media Browser is a free software project to create a media content aggregator, free and (at least parts of it) open source, which has been around quite some time (it was originally called Video Browser) to offer its services to all interested users to catalogue, comfortably, all the media you have stored on the hard drive of your PC.

Once installed, Media Browser scans and automatically recognizes all the multimedia content of the storage unit that you specify, and transfers everything it finds (either recorded content, ripped, downloaded from the Internet or scanned) to its own database, to introduce all that content in a simple and convenient way, in an intuitive visual interface, in which, in addition to the file itself, Media Browser adds all the information related to the movie, series, music album, etc that interests you, through metadata.

So, without much effort on your part, Media Browser will catalogue everything you've saved, giving added information, trailers, related films, and anything of interest it can find, and you just have to sit back and enjoy!
